Te mapa
Mansalay is a municipality on the southeastern coast of Oriental Mindoro, in the Philippines. The town centre sits close to the shore, facing a bay, and the land behind it rises into forested uplands. From above, the settlement is a compact group of streets near the water, connected by a coastal road to neighbouring towns to the north and south.
The uplands of Mansalay are home to Mangyan communities, including the Hanunuo Mangyan, who are known for preserving one of the old indigenous scripts of the Philippines. The municipality combines fishing, farming and upland life across a varied landscape.
A Mansalay map poster pairs the clean line of the coast with the organic spread of the town and its roads. The shoreline gives the composition a strong edge. Inland, the lines become sparse and winding as they climb into the hills, which leaves plenty of calm white space.

A single main road runs along Mindoro's coast and links Mansalay with neighbouring municipalities. It passes through town as the backbone of the settlement.
Inland, the land rises into forested hills that are home to Mangyan communities. Roads become fewer and more winding, and the edges of the poster stay open.
