Te mapa
Marilao lies in Bulacan, just north of Metro Manila, on the low, flat land that drains toward Manila Bay. On the map, the town is threaded by the Marilao River and smaller waterways that wind through neighbourhoods and fields. Where the land drops toward the coast, the street pattern fades into irregular patches of ponds and wetland.
Two major routes run through the town from north to south. MacArthur Highway, the historic road, carries shops and older neighbourhoods along its length. The North Luzon Expressway runs parallel with its large interchanges. Between them, subdivisions, factories and warehouses have filled much of the former farmland as Metro Manila has grown outward.
A Marilao map poster shows a busy, fine-grained town where water and roads compete for space. The rivers give the design soft, winding lines. The highways and rail corridor add strong straight ones, and between them, densely packed barangays form a detailed texture across the frame.

MacArthur Highway and the North Luzon Expressway run side by side through the town. They form strong north–south lines that tie Marilao to Manila.
Toward the coast, fishponds and wetlands show as irregular blocks of water. They mark where the town gives way to low-lying land.
