Te mapa
Marinilla lies in eastern Antioquia, Colombia, on the high plateau of the Valle de San Nicolás, a short distance from Rionegro and the airport that serves Medellín. From above, the town has the classic plan of a Spanish-founded settlement: a regular grid of blocks around a central plaza. Around it, farmland, greenhouses and scattered houses cover gently rolling green hills.
The town is known for its long tradition of guitar making, with local workshops building string instruments for musicians across Colombia, and for its solemn Holy Week processions. The central plaza and the church facing it remain the focus of civic life. Newer neighbourhoods extend along the roads toward Rionegro, El Santuario and the reservoir country around El Peñol.
A Marinilla map poster captures a town whose history can still be read in its streets. The central grid appears crisp and ordered, the roads to neighbouring towns curve away across the hills, and the growing edge shows how the region is changing. It suits people from eastern Antioquia, musicians and anyone who has spent time in the highlands above Medellín.
Square blocks spread from the main plaza in a regular pattern, the clearest trace of the town's colonial founding and still the heart of the map.
Routes to Rionegro, El Santuario and El Peñol leave the grid and curve over the rolling ground, linking Marinilla with the rest of eastern Antioquia.
Fields, farms and greenhouses fill the space around the town, giving the composition a finely broken texture beyond the compact centre.

Koteā ko Marinilla
A map of Marinilla carries the town's character quietly: its plaza, its streets, its place among the hills. It makes a thoughtful gift for a family from the region or a musician who owns one of its guitars.
