Instead of a strict grid, many streets bend with the contours, so the town reads as a set of soft curves radiating from its centre.

Te mapa
Matozinhos is a municipality in Minas Gerais, a short drive north of Belo Horizonte, in a region of limestone ridges, caves and gently rolling ground. On a map the town appears as a compact centre whose streets bend to follow the terrain, with main roads leaving in several directions toward the neighbouring municipalities of the metropolitan area.
The limestone underfoot has long shaped the local economy, and quarries and industrial sites appear as large, irregular shapes on the town's outskirts. Between them lie farmland, patches of vegetation and smaller settlements. The pattern is typical of the interior of Minas Gerais: a dense core, softer edges, and roads that curve around hills rather than cutting straight through them.
A Matozinhos map poster turns that landscape into a clean graphic study. Streets gather tightly near the centre, loosen as they climb outward, and give way to broad empty areas where the hills and fields begin. In a single colour the effect is calm and precise, with the curve of the roads doing most of the visual work.
Instead of a strict grid, many streets bend with the contours, so the town reads as a set of soft curves radiating from its centre.
The town lies in a limestone region known for caves and quarries, which shows on the map as large open or industrial areas beyond the houses.
Roads toward Belo Horizonte and nearby towns stretch away from the centre, tying Matozinhos visually into the wider metropolitan area.
