Te mapa
Maullín sits in the Los Lagos Region of southern Chile, close to where the Maullín River reaches the Pacific. The estuary is wide and shallow, with sandbanks and marshes that change the shape of the shore with the tide. On a map the town appears as a modest grid set against a much larger field of water.
The river begins at Lake Llanquihue and runs west through farmland and wetland before reaching the sea here. Around the town, the land is low and green, cut by small streams and marsh channels. To the south, the region opens toward the Chacao Channel and the island of Chiloé.
A Maullín map poster captures a landscape where the edges are soft. The coastline is not a hard line but a zone of estuary and marsh. The 1960 Valdivia earthquake reshaped parts of this coast, and the low ground around the river still shows how closely the town lives with water.
The Maullín River widens into an estuary before meeting the Pacific. On the poster, sandbanks and channels form a broad, layered area of water beside the town.
Marshes and small channels spread across the low land along the river. They add fine, irregular lines that contrast with the simple street grid.
The open ocean lies just to the west. The coast forms a long, curving edge that frames the composition and gives it a sense of scale.

Koteā ko Maullín
Southern Chile is a place of rivers, rain and long coastlines, and Maullín holds all three in one frame. The map suits those with family roots here or anyone who has travelled the coast toward Chiloé.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line to make it personal, perhaps with a date or a family name. The five styles range from Classic black & white to Blueprint, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
