Te mapa
Melitopol lies on the flat steppe of southern Ukraine, on the Molochna River, a short distance inland from the Sea of Azov. From above, the city shows a clear, largely rectilinear plan of long streets and regular blocks, while the river valley forms a softer, greener boundary along its eastern side. Railways and main roads cross the plan on wide, sweeping alignments.
The river flows south into the Molochnyi Lagoon, and the fertile land around the city made it known across the region for its orchards, above all for sweet cherries. A short distance to the north-east lies Kamiana Mohyla, a sandstone mound covered in ancient rock carvings and one of the oldest archaeological sites in the area.
A Melitopol map poster brings out the order of the city's street plan against the curving line of the river valley. It is a quiet, precise portrait of a steppe city, meaningful for people who grew up there or have family in its neighbourhoods and want a clear picture of home to keep close.
The Molochna River runs along the city's eastern side, its valley breaking the grid with curving banks, ponds and green space before continuing south toward the lagoon.
Much of the city follows a rectilinear layout, with long parallel streets that make the plan legible at a glance and give the poster a strong sense of rhythm.
Railway lines cross the city on long, gentle curves, reflecting its role as a junction on routes running between the north of the country and the southern coast.

Koteā ko Melitopol
Melitopol is a city many people carry with them, whether they still live there or have moved far away. A map of its streets keeps a familiar place in view: a school, a courtyard, the way down to the river.
Give it a title in your own words, add a subtitle and a date, and choose one of five styles, from Paper to Noir. Digital files come at 300 DPI in six sizes, and printed posters can be ordered with a wooden frame.
