Te mapa
Menifee lies in the inland valleys of southwestern Riverside County, between Perris and Murrieta. Interstate 215 runs through the city from north to south, and around it the map shows large planned neighbourhoods laid out in loops, crescents and cul-de-sacs, separated by wide arterial roads and patches of open land that still hint at the valley's agricultural past.
The city was incorporated only in 2008, bringing together several communities, including Sun City, one of the earlier planned retirement communities in Southern California. Rocky hills rise around the valley floor, and Salt Creek runs through it as a dry wash for much of the year. New developments continue to fill in the spaces between older neighbourhoods.
A Menifee map poster shows the distinctive patterns of suburban California: sweeping curves, repeating courts and the long straight line of the freeway. It suits families who settled here, people who bought their first home in one of its neighbourhoods, and anyone who likes the graphic quality of planned streets.
The freeway crosses the city from north to south, forming the boldest line on the map and dividing the eastern and western neighbourhoods.
Curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs repeat across the city, creating a rhythmic, almost decorative pattern that reads well in minimal line work.
Rocky hills surround parts of the valley, leaving blank areas on the map where the built-up streets stop against rising ground.

Koteā ko Menifee
Menifee is a place where many people bought their first home or moved for more space. A map poster of the city marks that move, and it works as a housewarming gift as much as a personal reminder of where a family put down roots.
Add your own title, your street or move-in date as a subtitle, and adjust the coordinates. Pick one of five styles, such as Noir or Sand, and download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a matte print, with a wooden frame if you like.
