Merefa Map Poster & Print
Merefa lies in Kharkiv Oblast in north-eastern Ukraine, a short distance south-west of Kharkiv. Its development has been closely linked to the railway: the town is a junction where lines from Kharkiv divide toward different parts of the country, and on a map the tracks and rail yards form its clearest structure.
Around the railway, the town consists of residential streets, many lined with detached houses and gardens, along with blocks of apartments and industrial areas near the lines. Small rivers and green areas appear at the edges, and the surrounding land is mainly farmland typical of the Ukrainian steppe and forest-steppe transition.
