Te mapa
Minsk, the capital of Belarus, was largely destroyed during the Second World War and rebuilt to an ambitious plan. The result is a map of broad radial avenues, generous squares and large residential blocks, all contained within the MKAD ring road. Independence Avenue runs from the centre towards the north-east as a long, straight spine lined with monumental post-war architecture.
The Svislach River winds through the city from north-west to south-east. Much of its course is lined with parks, reservoirs and embankments that form a continuous green corridor. Near the centre, the restored Trinity Suburb and the small Island of Tears memorial sit beside the water, among the few places where an older, smaller scale survives.
A Minsk map poster reflects a city designed as a whole. It is ordered, spacious and symmetrical in places, with the river adding softer curves. The regular avenues and the clear outer ring give Minsk one of the most structured plans in Eastern Europe, and it reads cleanly in all five poster styles.
The city's main axis cuts a straight line from the centre towards the north-east. Squares and large blocks along it anchor the whole plan.
Parks and water basins frame the river's winding course through the city. Together they form a green ribbon that crosses the street pattern diagonally.
The ring road draws an almost complete loop around the city. It marks a sharp edge between the urban blocks and the surrounding forest and fields.

Koteā ko Minsk
Minsk is a city of clear lines and open space, and that clarity suits a minimalist wall print. For people who studied, married or grew up here, the avenues and the river trace their own personal routes.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a district, a date or a short dedication. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as an HD download in six sizes or a printed poster.
