Te mapa
Mississauga lies on the shore of Lake Ontario, just west of Toronto. From above, it is a city of curving suburban streets and cul-de-sacs, organised around long arterial roads and major highways, including the 401, 403 and the Queen Elizabeth Way. Pearson International Airport occupies a large area in its northeast.
The Credit River winds south through the city to the lake at Port Credit, its wooded valley forming a green ribbon across the map. Near the centre, the Square One shopping area and the curved Absolute World towers mark the city's downtown, which has grown steadily around Hurontario Street.
A Mississauga map poster shows the patterns of a planned suburban city, loops and crescents within a large grid of main roads, with the lakeshore forming a clean southern edge. It is a portrait of a modern Canadian city shaped by roads, water and open space.

The shoreline of Lake Ontario forms the southern boundary, with Port Credit's harbour and parks marking where the river meets the lake.
Within a grid of arterial roads, residential streets curve into loops and cul-de-sacs, creating a distinctive pattern across much of the city.
