Te mapa
Moita sits on the south bank of the Tagus estuary, across the water from Lisbon. The map shows a town shaped by the shore, where the streets meet a long waterfront and narrow tidal creeks cut into the land. Beyond the centre, residential areas spread inland in a mix of older lanes and newer blocks.
The estuary has long defined life here. Traditional boats once carried goods across the river to Lisbon, and the salt marshes and mudflats around Moita are important for birds, including flamingos. The town's annual festival in September is one of the best-known in the region.
A Moita map poster brings out the meeting of land and water: irregular shorelines, marshes and the compact town beside them. The contrast between the open estuary and the built streets gives the print its character.
The town faces the wide waters of the Tagus. The shoreline curves and breaks into inlets, forming a strong edge on the map.
Narrow channels and marshland reach into the land around Moita. They create fine, irregular shapes that contrast with the street grid.
The historic centre sits close to the water, with a dense network of streets. Newer neighbourhoods extend inland from it.

The print suits people who live on the south bank, families with ties to the town, and anyone who has watched the estuary light change across towards Lisbon. It is a quiet record of a riverside place.
