Te mapa
Muheza lies in the Tanga region, inland from the Indian Ocean coast, where the flat lowlands start to rise toward the East Usambara Mountains. The town is known across Tanzania for its oranges and other fruit, grown in the farmland around it and sold at markets and along the roads. On a map, it is a compact town at a crossroads, with farms and villages spread out around it.
Muheza is also the usual starting point for trips up to Amani in the East Usambaras, an area of montane forest valued for its plant and bird life. The road to Amani climbs from the lowlands into steep, wooded country, and the change in terrain is visible in the way the road begins to bend and wind as it leaves the town.
A Muheza map poster shows a town between two landscapes: the level lowland farms and the mountains that rise behind them. The streets form a dense core along the main routes, and the tracks and small roads fan out into the orchards. It is an understated subject with a real sense of place.

A road leaves the town toward the East Usambara Mountains, bending as it climbs. It links Muheza with the forest reserve above it.
Farms and fruit groves surround the town on the lowlands. They form a wide, open setting for the compact grid of streets.

Koteā ko Muheza
Muheza is a home town for many people now living in Tanga, Dar es Salaam or abroad. A map of its streets and roads keeps the connection alive, and it looks good in a modern home or office.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand and Paper bring out the lowland warmth.
