Te mapa
Navarre lies on the Florida Panhandle between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, and water shapes almost all of its map. The mainland community stretches along U.S. Highway 98 on the north shore of Santa Rosa Sound. Navarre Beach occupies a slender section of Santa Rosa Island, the barrier island that separates the sound from the Gulf of Mexico.
A bridge crosses the sound to connect the two. On the island a single road runs parallel to the beach, with houses and condominiums lined up between the dunes and the water. Navarre Beach is known for its long fishing pier, one of the longest on the Gulf coast, and for protected dunes where sea turtles nest in summer. Large tracts of military land lie to the east.
A Navarre map poster turns this coastline into a striking composition of parallel bands: mainland, sound, island and open water. It makes immediate sense to anyone who has crossed that bridge on the way to the beach and watched the water change colour on either side from the car window.
The bridge over Santa Rosa Sound links the mainland to the barrier island. This short, straight line ties the whole map together.
The narrow island runs east to west along the Gulf. A single road, rows of buildings and protected dunes are packed into a slim ribbon of land.
Navarre Beach's long fishing pier extends from the shore into the Gulf of Mexico. It is a thin line on the map and one of the best-known features of this coast.

Beach towns hold summer memories, family trips and first homes near the water, and Navarre is no exception. Military families stationed nearby, retirees and year-round residents all find something familiar in these parallel lines of land and sea.
