Te mapa
Ndioum lies in the far north of Senegal, in the Saint-Louis Region, within the stretch of the Senegal River valley known as the Fouta Toro. The main road running along the valley passes through the town, and much of the street pattern gathers around it, giving the map a clear axis across otherwise flat ground.
The river and its side channels shape everything around the town. Seasonal flooding has long determined where people farm and where they build, so the map shows the settlement on firmer ground, with a web of watercourses, irrigated plots and tracks spreading across the lower land toward the river.
Ndioum is known in the valley for its regional hospital, which serves a wide surrounding area. A Ndioum map poster presents the town at a scale where its streets, the main road and the watery landscape beyond can all be read together, an honest portrait of a river-valley community.
The main road along the valley passes through Ndioum, forming the line that the rest of the town gathers around and the strongest stroke on the map.
Channels and floodplain of the Senegal River lie to the north, shaping an irregular, organic pattern beside the more ordered town streets.
The built-up area stays tight on firmer ground, and its short streets form a dense cluster set clearly apart from the surrounding fields.

Koteā ko Ndioum
Many people from the Fouta live in Dakar, France or elsewhere, and a map of the home town is a meaningful thing to keep on the wall. The combination of streets and water makes a quiet, balanced image.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or a date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in 30+ countries.
