Te mapa
Nepomuceno sits in the south of Minas Gerais, in the hilly country typical of much of this part of Brazil. The town does not follow a strict grid. Its streets bend with the terrain, climbing slopes and dropping into small valleys. A central square anchors the older part, and newer neighbourhoods spread outward along the ridges and roads.
The municipality lies in the Sul de Minas region, one of Brazil's best-known coffee-growing areas. The countryside around town mixes coffee plantations, pasture and remnants of forest. Rural roads follow the valleys and ridgelines, so on a wider map the town appears as a dense knot at the centre of a loose, branching network of lines.
A Nepomuceno map poster captures the character of a Minas hill town without relying on landmarks: streets curving along the contours, a sudden drop in density at the edge of town, country roads threading away across the hills. Printed in the Paper or Sand style, it has the warmth of an old survey map.
Streets curve and zigzag across the slopes instead of lining up in a grid. This gives the map an organic, hand-drawn quality that changes from block to block.
The older core around the main square is compact and closely built. It is the natural focal point of the poster, and the rest of town unfolds from it.
Rural roads wind out through farms and valleys. Their branching pattern traces the ridges of the surrounding coffee country.

Koteā ko Nepomuceno
People from Minas carry their hometowns with them wherever they go, and Nepomuceno is no exception. A map of its streets and hills makes a warm gift for someone who moved to São Paulo or Belo Horizonte, or a reminder of family farms and holidays.
The title and subtitle can show a family name, a farm or a date, and the coordinates line can be adjusted. With five styles, six print sizes and $9 HD downloads, it is easy to print at home or to order a matte poster delivered to you.
