Te mapa
Norfolk County is a single-tier municipality on the north shore of Lake Erie in southwestern Ontario. Unlike a compact city, it covers a wide stretch of countryside, and its map is defined by the lake's edge, a regular grid of concession roads and a scattering of towns including Simcoe, Port Dover, Port Rowan and Delhi.
The most striking feature is Long Point, a narrow sand spit reaching far out into Lake Erie, recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve and an important stop for migrating birds. The county is also known for farming; once a centre of tobacco growing, it now promotes itself as Ontario's Garden, producing fruit and vegetables across its fertile sandy soils.
A Norfolk County map poster emphasises scale and structure: straight rural roads divide farmland into even rectangles, while creeks and the curving shoreline add organic lines. Port Dover's harbour and the long arm of Long Point anchor the southern edge. The result is spacious and graphic, a strong choice for larger print sizes.

Straight rural roads divide the county into regular blocks of farmland, creating a calm, geometric pattern across the interior between the scattered towns.
Port Dover and Port Rowan sit on the shoreline, their small street networks gathered around harbours where creeks meet Lake Erie.
