Te mapa
Odivelas is a city and municipality directly north of Lisbon, across the capital's northern boundary. The terrain is hilly, with valleys and ridges, and the map follows those shapes. Dense residential neighbourhoods fill the lower ground, streets curve around the slopes, and major roads and the Lisbon ring road mark hard lines along the edges.
The city's oldest landmark is the Monastery of Odivelas, founded in the late thirteenth century by King Dinis of Portugal, who is buried there. Today Odivelas is closely linked to Lisbon, and the Yellow Line of the Lisbon Metro ends here, carrying commuters directly into the centre of the capital.
An Odivelas map poster shows a place defined by both history and suburban growth. The old core around the monastery sits within tighter, newer neighbourhoods, and the transport corridors stretch toward Lisbon. It is a detailed and honest map of the city beyond the city, recognisable to anyone who has lived on its hills.

The Yellow Line of the Lisbon Metro ends in Odivelas. The line links the city's neighbourhoods directly with central Lisbon.
Dense housing fills the valleys and climbs the slopes. Streets curve with the terrain and give the map a layered, organic structure.
