Te mapa
Oke Kan lies in Yangon Region, in the low, level country of the Ayeyarwady delta that surrounds Myanmar's largest city. From above, the settled area shows as a loose cluster of streets and compounds. Paddy land, ponds and drainage channels spread around it, typical of the plains to the north and west of Yangon.
Like much of the region, the town's layout owes more to the land and the water than to formal planning. Roads follow firmer ground, and smaller lanes branch off into residential pockets. Toward the metropolitan area, fields give way gradually to denser building. That shift shows up clearly on a map.
An Oke Kan map poster records this edge-of-the-delta geography in simple black and white: roads, water and settlement, without decoration. It is a quiet, understated piece. It will mean most to people with family in Yangon Region, or to anyone who wants a map of a specific place instead of a famous skyline.
The surrounding land is flat and low, with fields and water in every direction. This gives the map a calm, open background around the streets.
Ponds, canals and small channels scatter across the area. They appear as fine shapes and lines that add texture beyond the road network.
A few principal roads carry traffic through and out of the town. They form the clearest lines on the poster, with smaller lanes branching from them.

Koteā ko Oke Kan
For people from Yangon Region, a map of their own town can mean more than any landmark. It keeps a precise place in view: the roads walked, the neighbourhood left behind. It suits both homes in Myanmar and homes far away.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps in your own spelling, and add the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital set includes a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for each of six sizes.
