Te mapa
Ou Bei Choan is a town in Banteay Meanchey province in north-western Cambodia, a short distance from the Thai border. The land here belongs to the flat lowland plain that stretches toward the Tonle Sap basin. From above, the settlement shows houses and shops lining a few main roads, a denser cluster where they meet, and wide rice fields spreading out in every direction.
The border location shapes daily life. Farming dominates the surrounding land, but trade and movement toward the nearby crossings also bring people and goods through the district. Water is managed through canals and ponds, which are especially visible during the dry season when the fields turn pale.
An Ou Bei Choan map poster captures the linear character of rural Cambodian towns. Buildings follow the roads rather than forming a block grid, and the fields are divided into long, narrow plots. In black and white, the result is a minimal, open image with a strong sense of horizon.
Homes and shops line the main roads, so the town stretches along them instead of spreading into blocks. The result is a distinctive linear pattern.
Open paddy fields surround the town, divided into long plots by dikes and tracks. They fill most of the poster with a fine, even texture.
Straight canals and small reservoirs cross the plain, adding precise geometric accents to an otherwise flat and open landscape.

Koteā ko Ou Bei Choan
The map means most to families from Banteay Meanchey and to people who have lived or worked in the border region. It shows home as a simple pattern of roads and fields, without anything added.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with the name in Khmer, a family name or a date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download six print sizes for $9, or order a printed poster shipped from a partner near you.
