Te mapa
Palaú is a town in Múzquiz municipality in northern Coahuila, in the part of Mexico known as the Región Carbonífera, the coal region. From above it is a loose, low settlement of street blocks set on arid land, with open ground and dirt tracks around the edges. The street pattern is mostly regular, but it adapts to the terrain and to the paths once used by mining operations.
Coal mining shaped Palaú and its neighbouring towns, and the industry's history is part of local identity. The surrounding landscape is dry scrubland, with mountains of the Sierra Madre Oriental visible in the distance. On the map this appears as wide empty space beyond the last streets, broken only by roads leading to other towns in the region.
A Palaú map poster reflects that setting. The town's blocks are drawn as a compact pattern against a sparse background, and the roads out read as long, purposeful lines. It is an honest, uncluttered image of a working town in northern Mexico, well suited to minimalist black and white.
Palaú belongs to Coahuila's coal-producing region, and the open ground around the town reflects a landscape long shaped by mining.
The core is a practical arrangement of rectangular blocks, giving the poster a clear centre that stands out against the surrounding open land.
Straight roads connect Palaú with Múzquiz and neighbouring mining towns, running out across the plain as clean lines to the frame's edges.
