Te mapa
Palayan City is the capital of Nueva Ecija, a province in Central Luzon. It was created in the 1960s as a planned administrative seat, and its map reflects that purpose. A government centre with provincial offices sits among wide roads, and around it the rest of the city spreads loosely across hilly, partly wooded terrain.
The name comes from palay, the Filipino word for unhusked rice, a nod to Nueva Ecija's role as one of the country's main rice-growing provinces. Much of the land around the city is rolling upland, and the large Fort Magsaysay military reservation lies nearby.
A Palayan City map poster shows a capital that feels more like countryside than a dense city. Curving roads follow the contours of the hills, clusters of buildings sit apart from one another, and open ground fills the spaces between. The effect is relaxed and spacious, with the civic centre as a clear focal point.
The provincial government centre forms an organised cluster of buildings and roads, the planned core around which the city was designed.
Streets curve with the rolling terrain rather than forming a grid, and they draw soft, sweeping lines across the poster.
Large areas of grassland, woods and farmland separate the built-up zones and give the map an airy, sparsely drawn feel.

Koteā ko Palayan City
Palayan is home for many who work in government, farming or the armed forces, and a quiet anchor for families of Nueva Ecija. Its gentle, uncluttered map suits an office wall or a bright living room.
