Park Way Map Poster & Print
Park Way is one of the administrative regions of Brazil's Federal District, south-west of Brasília's central Pilot Plan. It was planned as a low-density residential area with very large lots, many of them kept green with trees and gardens. From above it looks quite unlike the modernist superblocks of central Brasília.
Wide curving roads divide the land into big parcels, and much of the space between houses is open or wooded. A Park Way map poster shows this loose, garden-like pattern, with the main highways around it and denser neighbouring areas such as Núcleo Bandeirante at its edges.
The district reflects the planned nature of the capital, but in a different register: space and greenery rather than monumental axes. In black and white, the sparse road network and large empty plots become a subtle composition that rewards a closer look.

Roads loop and bend through the district instead of following a strict grid. Their soft lines contrast with Brasília's more rigid planning.
