Te mapa
Pascagoula is on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where the Pascagoula River runs into Mississippi Sound. From above, water defines the town. The river runs along its eastern side, the Sound forms its southern edge, and bayous and marshland cut into the land in soft, irregular shapes. The street grid fills the drier ground between them.
The town is best known for shipbuilding. The large Ingalls shipyard takes up a long stretch beside the river, and its dry docks and yards are some of the biggest industrial shapes on the coast. The river is also tied to the local legend of the Singing River, a story that has been told in the area for generations.
A Pascagoula map poster shows how industry, marsh and neighbourhood streets share the same stretch of coast. It suits people whose families worked at the shipyard, those who grew up by the beach road and anyone with ties to the Mississippi coast.
The wide river runs along the town's eastern side toward the Sound. On the print it forms a strong, broad line, with marsh channels branching off it.
The shipyard's docks, slips and buildings line the riverbank in long, angular shapes. They look distinctly different from the residential blocks inland.
The southern edge of town meets Mississippi Sound. The coastline gives the map a clear horizon and a wide open field of water below it.

Koteā ko Pascagoula
Shipyard families, Gulf Coast natives and anyone who spent summers on this stretch of water often want a map that shows how the town sits between the river and the Sound.
Add a family name, a launch date or your street to the title and subtitle, and keep the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint works especially well for a shipbuilding town.
