Te mapa
Phú Lộc is a small town in the southern Mekong Delta, formerly part of Sóc Trăng province and now administered within Can Tho City. The land is almost perfectly flat and crossed by canals, so on a map the town is organised around waterways as much as roads. Houses line the banks, and fields stretch out behind them.
Life in this part of the delta has long been tied to rice cultivation and water transport. The canals serve irrigation, drainage and travel, and settlements tend to form narrow ribbons along them. That produces long, linear shapes rather than compact blocks, a pattern that becomes clear from above.
A Phú Lộc map poster captures that delta geometry. Canals cut straight lines and gentle curves through the frame, roads run beside them, and the town centre thickens where routes meet. Around the edges, the open land between waterways leaves broad pale spaces that give the design room to breathe.
Canals cross the town and its surroundings, and their straight engineered lines are the strongest feature on the map, dividing the flat land into long parcels.
Houses and shops line the roads and waterways in narrow strips, a typical delta pattern that stretches the town outward rather than packing it into blocks.
Beyond the built-up edge, wide fields fill the spaces between canals, showing up as calm open areas that frame the finer detail of the town.

Koteā ko Phú Lộc
For people raised in the delta, the lines of canal and road are the shape of home. Hung in a city apartment in Vietnam or abroad, the map keeps that landscape close and gives relatives something to talk about.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps the town name in Vietnamese with a family date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to bring out the waterways in different ways.
