Te mapa
Pinamalayan is a municipality on the eastern coast of Oriental Mindoro, facing the Tablas Strait. The town centre sits close to the shoreline, with the main road running parallel to the coast and linking it to other towns on the island's eastern side. The sea forms one clear edge of the map, and the land rises gently inland.
Around the town centre, rice fields, coconut plantations and small barangays spread across the coastal plain. Rivers and streams run down from the interior toward the sea, cutting across the flat land. On a map, the built-up area is modest, with a close pattern of streets near the centre and more open, scattered settlement beyond.
A Pinamalayan map poster shows a provincial coastal town in its landscape. The shoreline, the coastal highway and the grid of streets around the town hall and market form the main lines, and the surrounding farmland provides open space. It is a straightforward and personal image for people who know the town and its place on Mindoro.
