Te mapa
Poinciana is a large planned community in Central Florida, spreading across parts of Osceola and Polk counties south of Kissimmee. Developed from the 1970s onward, it is organised into a series of villages, each with its own network of looping residential streets, cul-de-sacs and small lakes.
From above, the pattern is unmistakably suburban: sweeping arterial roads connect neighbourhoods separated by wetlands, woods and conservation land, including parts of the Reedy Creek watershed. The Poinciana Parkway and the SunRail commuter station link the area more directly with the wider Orlando region.
A Poinciana map poster turns this layout into an intricate, organic drawing: rounded street loops, branching cul-de-sacs and ponds scattered like small drops across the sheet. The large green buffers between villages leave open spaces that keep the composition light and balanced.
Poinciana is divided into distinct villages, each drawn as its own cluster of curving streets, giving the map a pattern of separate, rounded neighbourhoods.
Residential streets form loops and dead ends rather than a grid, producing the leaf-like, branching shapes typical of planned Florida communities.
Wetlands, conservation areas and retention ponds occupy large spaces between neighbourhoods, adding irregular water shapes and quiet, open areas to the map.
