Te mapa
Quinte West lies on the northern shore of the Bay of Quinte in eastern Ontario, between Toronto and Kingston. The city was formed in 1998 by merging Trenton with several surrounding townships, so the map covers both a compact town centre and a wide spread of rural land. The long, irregular shoreline of the bay runs along the southern edge.
The Trent River meets the bay in the old Trenton centre, and this is the southern end of the Trent–Severn Waterway. That historic canal route runs inland across Ontario toward Georgian Bay. Quinte West is also home to CFB Trenton, a major Royal Canadian Air Force base, whose runways make a distinctive geometric shape east of the town.
A Quinte West map poster brings together water, town and airfield in one frame. The river mouth, the curving shoreline and the straight lines of the runways contrast neatly in monochrome. It is a map that shows a place defined by where land and water meet, and by the routes that start here.

The bay's long, indented shore runs along the south of the city, a strong natural edge with inlets and points.
The runways of the air force base form sharp straight lines east of the town, one of the most recognisable features on the map.
