Te mapa
Rybnoye sits on the wide, flat land of Ryazan Oblast, a short distance up the line from the regional capital. From above it looks like a practical town. Its streets are mostly straight and meet at right angles, and blocks of low houses give way to a few areas of larger apartment buildings. Farmland runs right up to the edges.
The main organising line is the railway between Moscow and Ryazan, which crosses the town and splits it into two uneven parts. Streets run roughly parallel and perpendicular to the tracks, and the station area forms a natural centre. Ponds and small watercourses on the outskirts break up the grid, adding a few irregular shapes to an otherwise orderly plan.
This is a working town rather than a landmark destination, and its map shows that honestly: a rail corridor, a neat grid of houses and gardens, and the broad countryside of central Russia around it. A Rybnoye map poster is a quiet, personal piece for people with family roots here or a home along the line to Ryazan.
The Moscow–Ryazan railway runs straight across the town. It is the strongest line on the map and the axis that most local streets follow.
Much of the town is made up of regular blocks of detached houses with long back gardens, which print as a fine, even texture.
Around the town, large field parcels, tree belts and scattered ponds fill the frame, showing how flat and open this part of Ryazan Oblast is.
