Te mapa
Sakhnīn sits on the southern edge of the Lower Galilee, where limestone hills drop into open valley farmland. From above, the town looks like an irregular cluster of streets packed onto slopes and saddles, with roads that follow the terrain rather than any grid. Built-up areas spread up the hillsides, and the cultivated ground below reads as a quiet, almost empty field on the map.
The older core is a tight knot of short, winding lanes. Newer neighbourhoods fan outward along contour-following roads, so the street pattern gets looser and more curved as it climbs away from the centre. Regional roads link Sakhnīn to the neighbouring towns of the Galilee, and on a black-and-white print they read as a few confident strokes crossing otherwise open country.
Outside Israel the town is best known for its football club, Bnei Sakhnin, which won the Israel State Cup in 2004. Inside the country the name is also closely tied to the Land Day protests of 1976. A Sakhnīn map poster shows the place as its streets and hills actually lie, a dense hilltop settlement looking over farmland.
Most roads bend with the slopes instead of running straight, so the street network forms curved, layered bands that trace the shape of the hills beneath the town.
At the centre, short and irregular lanes sit close together, giving the print a dense, darker patch that contrasts with the looser residential streets around it.
To one side the built-up area stops against open agricultural land, and the empty space of the valley floor frames the town with a clean margin.

Koteā ko Sakhnīn
For people from Sakhnīn or with family there, this map records the lanes of home and the hills that shape daily routes. It also suits football supporters who follow the club and want the town itself on the wall rather than a crest.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or a meaningful date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
