Te mapa
Salaqi is the seat of Tumed Right Banner, under the city of Baotou in Inner Mongolia. It lies on the broad plain north of the Yellow River, with the Yin Mountains rising to the north. On the map it appears as a compact, regular grid of streets, surrounded by the long straight lines of field roads and irrigation channels.
The plain along this stretch of the Yellow River has long been farmed, using water from the river to irrigate crops in an otherwise dry region. The town serves as a local administrative and market centre, linked by road and rail to Baotou to the west and Hohhot to the east.
A Salaqi map poster shows a small town set within a much larger landscape. The streets form a tidy grid, while the plain around them is marked by fields and channels in parallel lines. The mountains to the north and the river to the south give the whole region a clear sense of orientation.
The town's streets follow a regular pattern of straight roads and square blocks, making the centre easy to read on even the smallest print size.
Fields and irrigation channels surround the town in long parallel lines, a reminder of how farming here depends on water from the Yellow River.
The Yin Mountains lie to the north and the Yellow River to the south, framing the plain on which the town and its farmland sit.

Koteā ko Salaqi
For people from Salaqi or elsewhere in the Baotou area, a map of the town is a simple way to remember home. The title and subtitle can be set in any wording, including a family name, a date or a line in Chinese or Mongolian.
The tidy grid looks crisp in Classic black and white and Blueprint. Sand reflects the dry plains of Inner Mongolia, while Paper feels soft and Noir more striking. All five styles are available, and the coordinates line can be adjusted to any place.
