Te mapa
Saligram, also known as Saligrama, lies in Udupi district on the coast of Karnataka. On the map, the town follows the main coastal highway, with settlements lining the route and a network of smaller roads leading toward the Arabian Sea to the west and farmland to the east.
The area is known for the Guru Narasimha temple, an important temple for the local community. The landscape around the town is typical of coastal Karnataka: backwaters and small rivers, paddy fields, coconut palms and scattered homes, all of which give the map a detailed but relaxed texture.
A Saligram map poster captures a coastal strip where water and land intertwine. The highway provides a clear north–south axis, while rivers and backwaters add curving lines. It suits people from the Udupi region, whether they still live nearby or have moved to Bengaluru, Mumbai or further afield.
The main highway runs north to south through the town, forming the backbone of the map with homes and shops following its line.
Waterways wind through the coastal plain near the town, introducing soft curves that contrast with the straight line of the main road.
Farmland and groves fill the spaces between settlements, appearing as open areas that give the poster a calm, rural rhythm.
