Te mapa
San Antonio Oeste lies on the northern coast of Patagonia in Río Negro province, on a sheltered bay opening onto the Gulf of San Matías. On the map the town sits beside a shallow inlet edged with tidal flats and channels. Its streets form a compact grid on dry, flat land, and beyond it lies open Patagonian steppe.
The bay has one of the widest tidal ranges on the Argentine coast, so the water line shifts dramatically between high and low tide. The nearby beach resort of Las Grutas, known for its cliffs and warm water, belongs to the same municipality, and San Antonio Este, a port across the bay, handles fruit exports from the Río Negro valley.
A San Antonio Oeste map poster captures the meeting of steppe, town and sea. The grid reads clearly, the bay and flats spread in soft irregular shapes, and roads lead out across empty land. It is a spacious, understated composition that suits the scale of Patagonia.
A shallow bay with channels and tidal flats wraps around the town, forming the map's main water shape on the Gulf of San Matías.
A regular street grid on flat ground makes up the centre, giving the poster a clear built core beside the soft coastal outlines.
Open, dry land stretches inland from the town, leaving wide empty space broken only by long straight roads toward other settlements.
