Te mapa
San Luis sits inland, north of the city of Santiago de Cuba, in the farmed valley between the mountain ranges of the island's east. From above, the town is a modest, fairly regular grid of blocks, typical of Cuban provincial towns, with a central square and streets running out to the surrounding fields.
The railway is one of the town's defining lines. It runs past the built-up area and links it to Santiago and the wider eastern network, a reminder of how closely towns like this were tied to the sugar economy. Beyond the last blocks, the map opens into a patchwork of agricultural land, roads and small settlements, with the hills rising further away.
A San Luis map poster suits people who want a small place shown faithfully. There are no dramatic coastlines here, only a clean street grid, a rail line and the rural roads leading away from the centre. Drawn in black and white, that restraint becomes the point: a town at human scale, legible at a glance.
The centre follows the familiar Cuban pattern of regular blocks around a main square, a tidy, repeating structure that looks especially crisp in the Classic and Blueprint styles.
A rail line passes the town and connects it with Santiago de Cuba. On the map it cuts a long straight stroke that contrasts with the short blocks of the grid.
Around the town, open farmland and rural roads fill the frame, showing San Luis as a settlement in an agricultural valley rather than part of a larger urban area.

Koteā ko San Luis
For families with roots in eastern Cuba, San Luis may be where grandparents lived or where a story began. A clear map of its streets keeps that connection visible on a wall, far from the island if need be.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a surname, a date or a short dedication, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9, and there is a free watermarked preview to check the result first.
