Te mapa
San Marcos lies in the inland part of North County San Diego, spread across a valley between hills and ridgelines. State Route 78 runs east to west through it, and most of the city's grid is organised around that corridor. Away from the highway, streets turn into the loops and cul-de-sacs typical of Southern California neighbourhoods, climbing up the surrounding slopes.
The city is home to California State University San Marcos and to the main campus of Palomar College, which together make it a notable education hub for the region. South of the centre, Double Peak rises above the valley, and in the west the water of Lake San Marcos is surrounded by homes and a golf course.
A San Marcos map poster shows how a suburban valley city is built. Straight arterials meet curved residential streets, and the hills leave open, empty areas on the print. That contrast gives the map a clear structure and a relaxed rhythm.
The highway crosses the city from east to west. On the poster it is a firm horizontal line, with shops and main roads clustering along it.
CSU San Marcos and Palomar College each have their own layout of paths and loop roads, standing out from the surrounding subdivisions.
A small lake on the western side of the city, ringed by homes. On the map its irregular outline is one of the few pieces of open water.

Koteā ko San Marcos
Graduates of Cal State San Marcos or Palomar, and families who settled in the valley, often want a quiet reminder of the place. A map poster shows the hills, the campus and the neighbourhood together, and it fits almost any interior.
Add your own title, a subtitle like a graduation year, and the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files are $9, with sizes up to 24×36″, or order a printed poster.
