Te mapa
Santa Catalina is a municipality in Negros Oriental, on the south-western coast of Negros island facing the Sulu Sea. On a map, the town proper is a small grid of streets near the shore. The national road runs along the coast and links it with neighbouring towns. Inland, the municipality stretches far into the hills, with barangays spread along rivers and farm roads.
The map shows a coastal plain of rice fields and coconut groves that gives way to rolling uplands and then to forested mountains in the island's interior. Rivers run down from the high ground to the sea, drawing winding lines across the plain. Much of the municipality is rural, and the density of streets drops quickly outside the poblacion.
A Santa Catalina map poster shows the full range from sea to highlands in one frame. In black and white, the coastline makes a clean edge, the small town grid a point of focus, and the rivers and rural roads trace thin lines inland.
The shoreline along the south-west of Negros forms a long, clean edge, with the coastal highway running close beside it.
The town centre is a compact grid of streets near the coast, the one dense cluster in a largely rural municipality.
Rivers wind down from the mountains across farmland to the sea, linking scattered barangays along their banks and valleys.

Koteā ko Santa Catalina
Many Negrenses work abroad or in Manila, and a map of their hometown keeps the coast and hills of home close. It suits a new house, a family reunion or a gift for parents in Santa Catalina.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a barangay name or a date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
