Te mapa
Santa Fé do Sul lies in the far northwest of São Paulo state, close to where the state meets Mato Grosso do Sul and Minas Gerais. From above, the town is a clear, regular grid of square blocks, a pattern shared by many towns founded as agriculture pushed into Brazil's interior during the twentieth century.
Water defines the region. The Paraná River and its reservoirs lie close to the town, and their lobed shorelines reach into the surrounding farmland. The town's waterfront on the reservoir is a local leisure area. On a map, the long inlets make an irregular, organic edge that contrasts with the rigid street grid.
A Santa Fé do Sul map poster shows a planned town beside a large body of water, square blocks on one side and open reservoir on the other. It is a simple, strong composition that suits the minimalist black and white treatment.
The town is laid out in regular square blocks with straight, evenly spaced streets, a planned pattern that is easy to read at any size.
The broad waters near the Paraná River form inlets and lobes. Their soft outlines give the map its organic edge.
Beyond the grid, the town gives way to roads and fields, so its compact outline stands clearly on the poster.
