Te mapa
São Gabriel do Oeste lies in the center-north of Mato Grosso do Sul, on the plateau north of Campo Grande along highway BR-163. It is a young town, settled largely by farming families from southern Brazil. The map shows a planned layout of straight streets, regular blocks and wide avenues on open, gently rolling ground.
Agriculture defines the wider landscape. Beyond the edge of town, soybean and corn fields form huge rectangles divided by straight farm roads, and the area is also known for pig farming. From above, the countryside turns into a composition of clean geometric shapes that matches the order of the town grid.
The native Cerrado still shows through in strips of vegetation along streams, whose irregular lines cut across the farmland. A São Gabriel do Oeste map poster captures a modern agricultural town in its setting: disciplined streets, an open horizon and the long line of the highway passing by.
The town's streets are laid out in an even, regular pattern of blocks and avenues, a sign of deliberate planning rather than gradual, piecemeal growth.
The federal highway runs past the town as a long, nearly straight line. It links São Gabriel do Oeste to Campo Grande and the farming regions further north.
Farm roads divide the surrounding land into large rectangles, while wooded stream corridors cut across them in softer, winding lines.
