Te mapa
Shambu is a town in the highlands of western Oromia, Ethiopia, and serves as a local administrative and market centre. At this altitude the climate is cool and the land is open. On a map, the town is a compact cluster of streets where several roads meet, with farmland spreading out across gentle hills on every side.
Life in the area is built around agriculture, and the roads leading out of town connect it to the surrounding villages and fields. Seasonal streams drain the uplands, cutting soft lines through the countryside. The town centre is where the roads converge, forming a small but clear hub.
A Shambu map poster is a simple, honest portrait of a highland town. There are no dramatic coastlines or grand avenues, just a network of roads and a settlement shaped by where people meet to trade. That quiet structure translates well into a clean black and white print.
Several routes from the surrounding countryside meet in the town, giving the map a hub-like centre with lines radiating outward.
Around the town, the uplands are divided into fields and pasture. On the poster this appears as open, lightly marked ground around the denser streets.
Small watercourses wind through the hills around Shambu. They add gentle curves that soften the angles of the road network.
