Te mapa
Shilong is a town within Dongguan, in Guangdong's Pearl River Delta, on the banks of the Dong Jiang, or East River. It has long been a river port and trading town. It sits near the point where the river begins to split into delta channels, and that shapes the whole map: water on several sides, bridges joining the parts together, and a compact built-up area that uses limited land fully.
The Guangzhou to Shenzhen railway passes through the town, and Shilong grew into a manufacturing town within Dongguan's wider industrial belt. On the map, large rectangular factory and warehouse blocks sit around the edges. Near the river the older street pattern is much finer, with narrow lanes and buildings close together.
A Shilong map poster gives this dense river town a clean, readable form. The broad ribbons of the East River dominate the composition, the rail line cuts a firm straight path, and the streets fill in the land between. In black and white it becomes a study of how water and industry together decided where a town could grow.
The Dong Jiang runs past the town in wide bands of water and divides into branches nearby. The poster is anchored by these strong river shapes and the bridges that cross them.
The historic Guangzhou–Shenzhen line runs through Shilong. Its long, straight track bed stands out against the irregular streets and shows how the town connects to both cities.
Near the water the streets become narrow and closely packed. This is the oldest part of town, and on the map its fine, dense texture differs clearly from the newer industrial grid.

Koteā ko Shilong
Many people passed through Shilong for work, and many more were born or raised in its riverside streets. A map of the town helps you hold on to that place, whether it hangs in Dongguan, elsewhere in China or much further away.
You can write the title any way you like, add a subtitle or a meaningful date, and keep or edit the coordinates. All five styles suit the river shapes: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 HD files come without a watermark.
