Te mapa
Sifnos lies in the western Cyclades, a roughly oval island with a hilly interior and a coastline broken by small, sheltered bays. On a map, its villages form a connected band across the central plateau, where Apollonia, the capital, merges with neighbouring settlements into a loose web of lanes.
Kamares, the main port, sits at the head of a long bay on the west coast. To the east, the old fortified village of Kastro clings to a cliff above the sea, and farther south the monastery of Chrysopigi stands on a rocky point. In antiquity Sifnos was wealthy from its gold and silver mines, and today it is known for its pottery and cooking.
A Sifnos map poster shows an island shaped by walking. Paths link villages, chapels and coves, and the road network is modest enough to leave the island's form clear. The result is a detailed but balanced composition, with a dense cluster of streets in the middle and a coastline of small, deliberate indentations.
Apollonia and the settlements around it spread across the island's plateau, forming the densest cluster of lanes and the heart of the map.
A long, narrow bay on the west coast leads to the main port, making it one of the most distinct features of the outline.
The old fortified village sits on a cliff on the east coast, a small, tight knot of streets right at the edge of the sea.

Koteā ko Sifnos
Sifnos tends to be loved for its walking, its food and its quiet villages, and a map is a natural way to keep that close. The island's size suits smaller frames as well as large statement prints.
Add a title and subtitle, include the date of a trip, and choose among Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files are $9 for all six sizes, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
