Te mapa
Slobozhanske, known until 2016 as Komsomolske, lies in Kharkiv Oblast near Zmiiv and was built in the Soviet period to house workers of the nearby Zmiiv thermal power plant. That origin is visible from above: the town has the tidy, deliberate plan of a purpose-built settlement rather than the slow, irregular growth of an old village.
Residential blocks are grouped into neat quarters along a few wide streets, with schools, courtyards and green spaces placed between them. Around the town the map turns to forest and river floodplain, as the Siverskyi Donets winds through the area in loops and side channels, a soft natural outline against the settlement's straight geometry.
A Slobozhanske map poster shows that contrast clearly: a compact, rational grid of buildings on one side, and the meandering river and dense woodland on the other. For a town that many people associate with one industry and one generation of builders, the plan itself is the most honest portrait.
Apartment blocks arranged in regular groups around courtyards give the centre a repeated, orderly rhythm typical of Soviet workers' towns.
The river curves through the surrounding lowland in wide bends and oxbows, drawing a fluid line that softens the edges of the composition.
Woodland presses close to the built area, so on the poster the town appears as a clear island of streets inside a large, quiet field.

Koteā ko Slobozhanske
Many people who lived in Slobozhanske remember it under its earlier name, and a map is a neutral way to hold both: the same streets, the same courtyards, the same way to the river.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be written as you wish, including an old name or a family date. Five styles are available, from Classic black and white to Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital files or a printed poster.
