Te mapa
Smach Mean Chey is the district of Koh Kong province that contains the provincial town, set on the estuary of the Koh Kong River near the Gulf of Thailand. The border with Thailand lies a short distance to the west. On a map, the settlement is compact, pressed against the eastern bank of the wide river mouth, with water, islands and mangrove channels filling much of the frame.
A long bridge crosses the river, carrying the road west toward the border crossing at Cham Yeam and the Thai town of Hat Lek. To the south lie extensive mangroves, including the Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary, laced with tidal channels. Inland, the Cardamom Mountains rise behind the coast, one of the largest remaining forest areas in Southeast Asia.
A Smach Mean Chey map poster is dominated by water. The estuary appears as a broad pale shape, the mangrove channels as a fine branching pattern, and the town as a small, dense cluster of streets along the shore. The bridge is one of the few long straight lines. It is an unusual poster, closer to a coastal chart than a city plan.

A long bridge spans the estuary, carrying the road west toward Cham Yeam and Thailand, a bold straight line across the open water.
South of town, tidal creeks braid through the Peam Krasop mangroves, drawing an intricate, organic pattern that contrasts with the few straight streets of the settlement.

Koteā ko Smach Mean Chey
Smach Mean Chey is a place many travellers pass through on the overland route between Thailand and Cambodia, and some stay to explore the Cardamoms and the coast. For them, and for local families, the map records a landscape that is mostly water and forest.
You can name the poster Koh Kong or Smach Mean Chey, add a subtitle and a date, and choose one of five styles. The free preview is 900 px with a watermark; the $9 download removes it and adds six full-resolution print sizes.
