Stroitel Map Poster & Print
Stroitel is a town in Belgorod Oblast, north of the city of Belgorod, and the administrative centre of Yakovlevsky District. The name means "builder" in Russian. It reflects its origin as a settlement created for construction workers, and that planned character is still visible from above.
The map shows regular residential blocks, wide streets and the open courtyards of apartment neighbourhoods, laid out with a clarity that older market towns rarely have. Beyond them the land opens into the farmland of the forest-steppe, crossed by field roads and shelterbelts. The major highway south toward Belgorod passes close by.
