Te mapa
Sujiatun is a district on the southern side of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province in northeast China. It lies on the broad, level plain that spreads across much of the region, and its map shows the kind of large-scale planning that such flat land allows: long straight avenues, big rectangular blocks and generous spacing between them.
Rail lines and major roads connecting Shenyang with the south of the province pass through the district, drawing strong diagonals and parallels across the plan. Around the older centre the streets sit closer together, while newer residential and industrial zones occupy wider parcels. At the edges, the grid gives way to fields and to scattered villages on the plain.
A Sujiatun map poster emphasises structure. In black and white, the district's wide roads and rail corridors form a clean framework, and the large blocks between them read as calm, even panels. It is a map for those who appreciate order and scale, and for anyone whose story connects to this southern edge of Shenyang.
The land is almost completely flat, so roads run straight for long distances and the map has a steady, even rhythm that suits a minimalist print.
Rail lines and major roads heading south from Shenyang cross the district, creating the strongest lines on the poster and dividing it into distinct zones.
Newer neighbourhoods are organised in big rectangular superblocks, each with its own internal streets, which gives the plan a bold, modular appearance from above.
