Te mapa
From above, Taguig reads as two landscapes stitched together. In the northwest, the tight rectangles of Bonifacio Global City rise from land that once belonged to Fort Bonifacio, a military reservation. To the southeast, older neighbourhoods run down toward the open water of Laguna de Bay, where the street pattern loosens and follows the shoreline.
Water frames the city on several sides. The Pasig River and the Napindan Channel trace its northern edge, the Taguig River threads through the older barangays, and the lake takes up the eastern margin of the sheet. Expressways cut across in long diagonals, linking the district to Makati, Pasay and the southern suburbs of Metro Manila.
A Taguig map poster makes the contrast easy to see. The planned grid of the business district sits beside the irregular lanes of the old town, and the broad green of the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, with its concentric rows, is one of the largest open spaces anywhere in the metro.

The largest lake in the Philippines forms Taguig's eastern edge, a wide blank field of water that gives the composition a strong, quiet side.
The Manila American Cemetery and Memorial appears as a large circular green, its curved paths radiating in rings unlike anything else on the map.

Koteā ko Taguig
Taguig is a place many people know through work, a first apartment in a high-rise or a move to Metro Manila. A map of it holds both the new grid and the lakeside town, which is often how the city feels to live in.
You can title the poster with a neighbourhood, add a date or your own coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room it will hang in.
