Te mapa
Talisay sits on the northwest coast of Negros Island, directly north of Bacolod, and on a map the two cities almost run together. The built-up area hugs the shoreline along the Guimaras Strait, with a compact street grid near the old centre. Farther inland it breaks into looser lines of barangay roads that cross open agricultural land, so the densest ink stays close to the water.
The land around the city has long been sugar country, and the map shows it. Beyond the town edge the roads turn straighter and farther apart, following field boundaries and cane haul routes rather than a planned pattern. Small creeks cut across on their way to the sea, and the coastline itself is smooth and low, without major headlands.
Talisay is best known for The Ruins, the shell of an early twentieth-century mansion built by a sugar planter and burned during the Second World War. A Talisay map poster shows the whole setting: the town pressed against the coast, the neighbouring city to the south, and the plantation country the house was built to overlook.
The western edge of the map is a long, gentle coastline facing the strait, with the town's streets running close to the water before thinning out north and south.
Inland, farm roads run in long straight lines between wide parcels of sugarcane, which gives the outer part of the poster a clean geometric quality.
Talisay's southern edge merges into Bacolod's street network, so the poster reads as one side of a larger coastal settlement on Negros.

Koteā ko Talisay
This map suits someone with family on Negros, a visitor who remembers the drive out to The Ruins at sunset, or anyone who likes a quiet coastal plan. The shoreline and the field grid make a calm composition that works well in a hallway or a study.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to add a family name or a date that matters. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 set of HD files or a printed poster.
