Te mapa
Twentynine Palms lies in the high desert of San Bernardino County, California, on the northern edge of Joshua Tree National Park. From above it appears as a thin, widely spaced grid of roads spread across open sand, with houses scattered among large desert lots rather than packed into blocks.
State Route 62 runs east to west through the town and acts as its main street. To the south the grid ends at the park boundary, where roads give way to the rocky hills of Joshua Tree. The park's Oasis Visitor Center is in town, next to the Oasis of Mara, the palm oasis the town is named after.
To the north lies the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, one of the largest military bases in the United States, which covers a wide area of desert. A Twentynine Palms map poster shows a desert town drawn in thin lines, with plenty of empty space and the park and mountains forming its southern boundary.
Long, straight roads cross the valley floor at wide intervals, forming a grid that feels almost empty, with scattered homes among open lots.
The highway runs across the town from west to east and serves as its main street, the densest line on an otherwise spacious map.
To the south, the grid stops at the rocky hills of Joshua Tree National Park, where straight roads give way to rough, empty terrain.

Koteā ko Twentynine Palms
Visitors to Joshua Tree, Marine families and desert lovers all find something in this map. Its open, sparse lines give a wall a quiet, spacious feel that suits minimalist rooms.
Change the title and subtitle, perhaps adding a deployment year, a road trip or a stargazing night, and edit the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the desert.
