Te mapa
Vittal is a town in the Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka, inland from Mangaluru. It lies in the undulating country between the coast and the Western Ghats, where laterite hills, valleys and streams shape the land and roads rarely run straight for long.
The countryside around Vittal is known for plantation agriculture, especially areca nut, along with coconut and pepper. From above, homes and farms are spread among the trees rather than packed into a dense centre, and the map reflects that. The market area forms a small core, with roads curving out across the slopes to surrounding villages.
A Vittal map poster captures this loose, organic pattern of settlement. Winding roads and scattered development give the map a softer, more natural feel than a planned town. It is a fitting image for anyone connected to this part of Tulu Nadu, where the landscape and the town are closely woven together.
Roads follow the contours of the laterite hills, curving and branching across the map rather than forming a grid, which gives the town a flowing structure.
The commercial core is compact, with shops and public buildings gathered where several roads meet, forming the densest part of the map.
Around the town, areca and coconut plantations fill the valleys and slopes, with homes spread among them in a scattered, low-density pattern.

Koteā ko Vittal
Vittal is the kind of town people carry with them when they move to Bengaluru, the Gulf or further away. A map of its winding roads is a precise reminder of home, where every curve is familiar.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a family name or a date. Five styles are available, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital files or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
