Voúla lies on the southern coast of Attica, part of the stretch of shoreline often called the Athens Riviera. On a map it is a band of streets pressed between the sea and the rising ground to the east, with the coastal avenue running along the water and residential blocks climbing gently inland.
The coastline is the main character here. Small beaches, rocky points and marinas break the edge of the land into a series of shallow curves, while the Saronic Gulf opens as an empty field of white or black depending on the style. The Athens tram reaches the area, linking it to the city centre along the coast.
