Wobulenzi Map Poster & Print
Wobulenzi is a town in Luweero District, in Uganda's Central Region, north of Kampala. Its shape on the map is defined by the main highway to Gulu, which runs straight through the centre and gathers shops, fuel stations and markets along its edges. Behind this commercial strip, smaller roads and lanes lead into residential areas and then out into green countryside.
The land around the town is gently rolling and largely agricultural, with smallholdings growing crops such as bananas, coffee and cassava. Wobulenzi works as a stop for travellers heading north and as a trading point for surrounding villages, and much of its daily activity concentrates wherever the highway meets the local roads.
